Received Bronze Award at DFA award 2009

On December 12th 2009, we got Bronze Award of “Design For Asia Award 2009” in Hong Kong, China. It is a competition to recognize good designs that are most influential within Asia. Japan, China, Korea, Soul, Indonesia and so many countries has attracted DFA.

It was third times for us to join DFA. First time was grand prize for package design “Cubic floater,” second time was silver prize fountain entertainment “Water dome project”. Then a product for eco friendly life received bronze award.
Some people said that Japanese design leads this award. Actually many Japanese maker joined this competition and got many awards every year. Sony, Toyota(prius), and many architects’ design. But no one can deny the fact Japan design aim for technical beauty and compact appearance. We hope to join this award again next year.

Suzuki takes a distinct view in his products. He always tries to find “right style” in each material and technology. So he realized a simple and beautiful design. As this product integrates the form of blades to have the wind and the form of shades reflect light.
Takashima also tries to develop effective style. He added solar panel on top of the lantern of WTL-3 and WTL-1. These two models turn wind and sunlight into clean power.
