Mountain AtelierAtelier di montagna

To put my research theme of “Mobile Architecture” into practice, I built a disassembleable, reassemblable, and movable “Mountain Atelier” in Yamagata. A dome-shaped shelter served as the tearoom, while a vintage Airstream camper was used as the preparation area.

It was a six-year experiment integrated with nature, where I cultivated fields with my students and held tea ceremonies using spring water.
